PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image similarity decision function-equipped design development support tool and a program used therefor, capable of performing similarity decision with high accuracy even when image data includes a design.;SOLUTION: This image similarity decision function-equipped design development support tool has: a frequency conversion part performing frequency conversion to each of a plurality of pieces of the image data; an SOM part disposing each of the plurality of pieces of the image data frequency-converted by the frequency conversion part onto an SOM; and an inverse frequency conversion part performing inverse frequency conversion to the plurality of pieces of the frequency-converted image data disposed on the SOM.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
