PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dog-derived embryonic stem cells, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a method for making a long-term subculture thereof with the embryonic stem cells kept undifferentiated.;SOLUTION: The dog-derived embryonic stem cells are produced by isolating undifferentiated cells having pluripotency and autoreproductivity from the internal cellular mass of dog-derived prolapsed blastocyst-stage embryoes. The long-term subculture of the dog-derived embryonic stem cells is conducted with the cells kept undifferentiated by decreasing the number of the dog-derived embryonic stem cell colony's cells by a physical means and culturing the cells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
