PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for easily dissolving an agar which has low entanglement of the dissolved agar and is capable of preventing the formation of lumps as much as possible, and an agar easily dissolvable at a low temperature.;SOLUTION: This agent for easily dissolving the agar consists mainly of at least one component selected from a disaccharide, an oligo sugar, dextrin, inulin and their sugar alcohols, and has ≤20 weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight and ≤18 DE of the dextrin.
