PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor method which enables a simple and accurate evaluation of the elapse observation of a C-type hepatitis case, and a hepatic cancer diagnosis method that is superior in sensitivity and specificity.;SOLUTION: In the method for monitoring that hepatic disease of the C-type hepatitis case has become serious, by measuring the concentration GPC 3 in the specimen to be examined of the C-type hepatitis case and the hepatic cancer diagnosis method, the concentration of GPC 3 in the specimen to be examined is measured by an immunological method, while the cutoff value is set: when the concentration of GPC3 becomes the cutoff value or higher, it is determined as being a C-type hepatitis becoming serious that is turning into hepatic cancer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
