PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional composite material obtained by mixing a rubber material, a pulverized hard material and/or a powder state hard material, where the bonding properties of the materials are good even when being molded to a required shape, and wherefrom such properties as sufficient impact resistance, abrasion resistance and durability, are also stably and easily obtainable; and to provide such a composite product as a transport pipe, reinforced transport pipe, reinforced/durable pulley, reinforced/durable roller, reinforced/durable conveyor belt or reinforced/durable hopper, using the composite material.;SOLUTION: A covering shock absorber A is obtained by mixing the rubber material 1 with the pulverized hard material 2, followed by integrally molding the mixture to a required shape.
