VIDEO CODING SYSTEM FOR DECREASING FRAME MEMORY ACCESS BY DIRECTLY LINKING WORKING MEMORY

摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video coding system for decreasing frame memory access by directly linking a working memory. PSOLUTION: The video coding system, includes a storage device for temporarily storing video data, an arithmetic unit for executing video coding of data in the storage device and a switching device for switching the connection of a video memory, the arithmetic unit and the storage device, and establishes direct connection between the storage devices. The arithmetic unit is a deblocking filter unit and in order to perform deblocking filtering upon a present macro block of a working memory, a part of data on a left side storing the macro block is copied to another working memory using the direct connection between the storage devices.
