PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain proper sealability even under high pressure, and to uniformize the distribution of a solution inside a column.;SOLUTION: This column for a high-performance liquid chromatograph, provided with a cylindrical column body 101 to be filled with a packing, an upstream end fitting 102 attached to an upstream of the column body, and a cylindrical frit 104 provided between the upstream-end fitting and the column body and for serving as a filter, is provided with a flow-in passage 107 formed at the upstream end fitting 102; expanded tapered, with respect to a flow-in direction in an end part of a frit 104 side; and a sealing member 117 provided in an outer circumferential part of the frit 104.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
