PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect wheel vertical acceleration by correcting the output of a vertical acceleration sensor, since the output is reduced as the degree of inclination of the sensor is increased when the vertical acceleration sensor is tilted as the wheel is vertically moved with respect to a vehicle body if the wheel vertical acceleration sensor is mounted on a movable member of a wheel suspension such as a suspension arm.;SOLUTION: The detected value of a wheel vertical acceleration sensor is corrected so as to cancel its effect according to the change in the posture of the movable member of a wheel suspension on which the sensor is mounted.
