CIRCULAR WAVEGUIDE ANTENNA AND CIRCULAR WAVEGUIDE ARRAY ANTENNA

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive circular waveguide array antenna by improving radiation characteristics, especially a radiation gain while improving reflection loss characteristics of an antenna. PSOLUTION: The circular waveguide antenna has a power feeder 17 on one side of a circular waveguide so as to feed an electromagnetic wave, and a radiation opening face 10 on the opposite side so as to radiate the electromagnetic wave. When the circular waveguide is formed into a conical horn 11, in which a diameter of a power feeding side opening face on the power feeder side is set as (a), a diameter of the radiation opening face 10 as (d) larger than the diameter (a) of the power feeding side opening face, and an opening angle as 2, and a wavelength of a center frequency in the using frequency band is set as ; an value being a half of the opening angle 2 is set between 0.8Arcsin (0.1349114/(d/)) and 1.2 Arcsin (0.1349114(d/)).
