PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dioxins scavenger and a method for removing dioxins, which is capable of simply treating high-concentration dioxins in treatment of material containing dioxins, is inexpensive and, moreover, has high scavenging effect of dioxins.;SOLUTION: Material containing dioxins is treated by using the dioxins scavenger comprising a crystalline laminar sodium silicate presented by formula; NaMSi_xO_2x+1-yH₂O (wherein, M denotes sodium or hydrogen; x denotes a number of 1.9 to 4; and y denotes a number of 0 to 20).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
