PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method or the like capable of dealing with an effect of (floating) noises generated spontaneously in the sea etc. , and detecting an electric field resulting from a desired object, phenomenon, or the like with high precision.;SOLUTION: A device is provided with an electric field detector 1 for detecting a component in each of three-axis directions of the electric field, a magnetic field detector 2 for detecting a component in each of the three-axis directions of a magnetic field, a current meter 3 for measuring a component in each of the three-axis directions of the velocity of sea water, an induced-electromotive-force estimating apparatus 6 for generating electric field floating noise data by performing calculation based on a generated induced electromotive force, on the basis of the velocity of the sea water and a magnetic flux density based on terrestrial magnetism detected for each component, and an electric field signal data correction portion 9a for correcting data based on the electric field by the electric field floating noise data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
