PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output circuit which does not damage a power saving effect even when connecting to a capacitive load, and further can deal with a sleep mode. PSOLUTION: An output circuit comprises a driver part which buffers an input signal and outputs the input signal to a load circuit, and a variable current source which is connected to the output of said driver part. The output circuit further comprises a current detection part which detects a current driven by the driver part, a bias circuit which varies the current value of the variable current source by supplying a bias corresponding to the result of the detection by the current detection part to the variable current source, and a capacitor connected between the current detection part and the bias circuit. The bias circuit decreases the current value of the variable current source when the current driven by the driver part increases, and increases the current value of the variable current source when the current driven by the driver part decreases.
