PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable sulfonated copolymer excellent in ionic conductance, remarkably reducing methanol crossover and to provide a fuel cell including crosslinked product of the copolymer. PSOLUTION: The sulfonated copolymer comprising (a) at least one aromatic ether repeating unit and (b) an aromatic ether repeating unit comprising a sulfonic acid group or a sulfonate group and having a polymerizable unsaturated functional group at one end or both ends thereof, and can remarkably reduce methanol crossover, maintaining superior dimensional stability and ionic conductivity by reducing swelling.
