PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect a motion vector. PSOLUTION: The distortion aberration of an optical lens system comprising a fixed lens 1, a zoom lens 2, a diaphragm 3, a fixed lens 4, and a focus lens 5 is corrected in a distortion correction part 8. Then, by using image signals for which the distortion aberration of the optical lens system is corrected, a motion vector detection part 9 detects the motion vector. Thus, the erroneous judgement of the detection of the motion vector due to the influence of the distortion aberration of the optical lens system is prevented as much as possible, and the detection accuracy of the motion vector is improved.
