PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ND (Neutral Density) filter with which the occurrence of warpages, cracks etc. of a substrate is suppressed, and to provide a method for manufacturing the ND filter and a light quantity attenuation device.;SOLUTION: The ND filter 11 adjusts transmitted light quantity and is constructed by comprising a lamination film, equipped on the substrate made of a resin and ribs 13 continuously or discontinuously formed on the substrate. The rib 13 is constructed with a protrusion formed on one surface of the substrate, and a recession formed on the other surface of the substrate corresponding to the protrusion, also is constructed with a protrusion formed with application or printing on the substrate, or is constructed with a protrusion formed by bending an edge portion of the ND filter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
