PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hitless route switching method capable of changing a route of IP multicast without interrupting services to users.;SOLUTION: A Node (F) transmits a hitless route switching instruction (PIM-Join(SW)) to an existing route and a switching destination route. A node (A) on the existing route for receiving the same PIM-Join(SW) from different nodes discriminates itself to be a route switching start point node, thereafter transmits a service request to a service distribution server 101 and transmits packets attached with information denoting the order of the packets to both the routes for a user side. The node (F) receives the packets from both the routes and selects the switching destination node when the information attached to the packets from the existing route and the information attached to the packets the switching destination route are consistent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
