PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for suppressing deposition of waste ink which is simple in construction, can suppress deposition of the waste ink by preventing the waste ink hard to flow from being increased in viscosity, and can contribute to reduction of parts and product costs and to miniaturization of an apparatus as well.;SOLUTION: The device 1 for suppressing deposition of the waste ink is applied to a recorder 100 equipped with a recording head 13 of a longitudinal arrangement type in which both a nozzle opening 131A that ejects fluid ink and a nozzle opening 131B that ejects ink hard to flow are arranged along a sub scanning direction Y.
