PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a system to automatically calculate a dead angle, and to detect a dead angle in a design step only by inputting the position information of a wall face edge part and the pole of a sensor. PSOLUTION: A sensor dead angle detection device 100 is provided with a position information input part 120 for acquiring the position information of a wall face edge part and the position information of a pole on which a sensor is mounted from input equipment; a sensor dead angle detection part 130 for detecting the presence/absence of a dead angle to be generated between the wall face and the sensor by calculating the position relation of each wall face and an invisible light beam by a central processing unit 170; and a notification part 140 for notifying an external output device 180 of the presence/absence of a dead angle based on the detection result of the sensor dead angle detection part 130.
