PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for achieving trade/exchange/transfer service of seat reservation information prior to boarding a train.;SOLUTION: The system comprises a reservation managment server 1 having reservation exchange processing 15 to exchange reservation information exchange-registered from an operation terminal; reservation transfer processing 16 to transfer reservation information transfer-registered from the operation terminal; cancel processing 13 to cancel a service of trade/exchange/transfer, etc., cancel-required from the operation terminal; state recognition processing 14 to check a service state of trade/exchange/transfer, etc., state-check-required from the terminal; and authentication processing 17 when authentication is required from the terminal, and a trade server 2 having a trade table 21 to manage information on a trade service; and trade processing 23 to retrieve a trade partner on the basis of the information from the trade table.
