PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a search system, capable of objectively and accurately searching the component substance of new materials, having desired characteristics. PSOLUTION: The component substance search system of the new materials has a database and a computer, in which the computer includes a first storage for storing a physical property parameter, a real data extractor for extracting a real data from the database, a second storage for storing the real data, an unstored data confirmation section for confirming data that have not yet been stored; a virtual data operation section for estimating virtual data for the unstored data, a parameter input section for inputting a search parameter; a third storage for storing the search parameter, a coordinate axis set section for forming a plain or a space, having the search parameter set in one axis, a data readout section for reading out the real data and the virtual data, a map generator for generating a search map, a substance extractor for extracting the substance from the search map, and a display section for displaying the extracted substance.
