PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition useful for reinforcing the endurance of activity, preventing or early recovering fatigue, or strengthening nourishment, and to provide a composition of mode which enables the industrially effective use of the composition. PSOLUTION: This composition contains a thioctic acid compound or the thioctic acid compound, creatine, and the like as active ingredients. The thioctic acid compound is desired to be at least one selected from the group consisting of thioctic acid, its reduced product, optical isomer, their salts, esters and amides, and their cyclodextrin clathrates, lipid-coated products of the above-mentioned substances, and doubly coated products prepared by further coating the lipid-coated products with a hydrophilic substance.
