PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar plate for solid high polymer electrolyte type fuel cell which is light weight/high function, with a manufacturing process and handling which can be simplified and reducing gas permeability. PSOLUTION: The bipolar plate for solid high polymer electrolyte type fuel cell has a conductive metal layer 13 formed on a conductive resin substrate 10 molded from high polymer composite material which is a mixture of thermoplastic resin and conductive material and includes each of an adhered layer 11 on the resin substrate side and a current collection layer 12 on a side separated from the resin substrate. A mixture of polycarbonate resin and acrylonitrile-butadiene-stylene resin is used as the thermoplastic resin, carbon material is used as the conductive material and Pd or Pd-Ni alloy is used as the current collection layer.
