PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyurethane foamed roller by which a film forming the cell skeleton of the polyurethane foamed roller can be fractured near and in the interior of the surface to form open cells having excellent air permeability.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyurethane foamed roller comprises foaming and curing a composition comprising a polyether polyol, tolylene diisocyanate and a diphenylmethane diisocyanate around a mandrel pre-arranged in a metal mold. In the method, the composition is foamed and cured in the metal mold and then demolded. A crushing treatment applying rotation of 10-200 turns to the polyurethane foamed roller is carried out while compressing the polyurethane foamed roller at 20-90% compressibility.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
