PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable nonwoven fabric having suppressing actions for suppressing growth of weeds and repelling actions for repelling diseases and pests and layable on a field.;SOLUTION: The biodegradable nonwoven fabric 1 is composed of a black web 2 having shading properties and a white web 3 laminated onto the top surface of the black web 2 and having light reflectivity.
