PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an optical film having an uneven surface in which the uneven surface is reduced in defect and which is improved in adhesion to a reflection preventing layer and the optical film having the uneven surface.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing the optical film having the uneven surface, an ultraviolet curable resin is irradiated with ultraviolet rays while being arranged between a film support and an uneven type roller having an uneven surface, and after the resin is polymerized/cured, the film support and the resin are peeled off from the roller.
