PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately display a remaining time of remaining capacity of a battery. PSOLUTION: An imaging apparatus to which power is supplied by a battery 51, comprises: a communication means 22, 73 for acquiring charging/discharging current accumulation information from the battery 51; a storage means 23 for previously storing power consumption information of the imaging apparatus 10; an arithmetic means for operating a usable time of the imaging apparatus 10 due to the battery 51 based on the received charging/discharging current accumulation information and the power consumption information; a display means 16 for displaying the usable time; an imaging means for imaging an object; and a reproducing means for reproducing an image captured by the imaging means, wherein the storage means 23 previously stores at least power consumption information of imaging operation due to the imaging means and power consumption information of reproducing operation due to the reproducing means.
