PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member for an automobile seat which does not adversely affect the normal operation of the slide member while increasing the degree of the motion of a movable part with respect to a fixed part at an impact, and a automobile seat having the slide member.;SOLUTION: The slide member (4) has a first profile part (6) and a second profile part (12).
