PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jam of a communication line in event of an earthquake.;SOLUTION: A wide region where elevators are installed is divided into a plurality of a narrow regions 2, 2A to 2N. With respect to each of the narrow regions 2, 2A to 2N, one elevator 6 most easily enabling operation of a seismic sensor 7 and one elevator 6A most difficult to enable operation of a seismic sensor 7A are selected. When both emergency operation accident warning audible signals from the elevator 6 most easily enabling operation of the seismic sensor 7 and emergency operation accident warning audible signals from the elevator 6A most difficult to enable operation of the seismic sensor 7A are sent to an information monitoring center 5, and when neither the emergency operation accident warning audible signals from the elevator 6 most easily enabling operation of the seismic sensor 7 nor the emergency operation accident warning audible signals from the elevator 6A most difficult to enable operation of the seismic sensor 7A are sent to the information monitoring center 5, sending of the emergency operation accident warning audible signals by the communication line 4 is prohibited.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
