NETWORK GAME SYSTEM AND GAME TOTALIZATION DATA DISPLAY METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network game system and a totalization data display method for games which enable the display of the results of games with a ranking in individual terminal game machines being directly reflected on it even when a low-speed network is interposed between the terminal game machines and totalizing host computers. PSOLUTION: The results of games in the individual terminal game machines are transmitted to a nation-wide totalizing host computer via parlor host computers arranged at respective business bases and a totalizing operation is carried out to generate totalization data. The nation-wide totalizing host computer transmits the totalization data thus acquired to the respective parlor host computers. The parlor host computers get the totalization data stored as transmitted from the nation-wide totalizing host computer and when a request for the totalization data arrives from a terminal game machine, the parlor host computer generates a totalization data for display by making the results of the games reflect on the totalization data stored to be transmitted to the terminal game machine for display. Otherwise, instead of installing the nation-wise totalizing host computer, it may be so arranged that the totalization data are transferred in rotation among the parlor hosts computers.
