PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method to isolate and recover a siloxane compound or an inorganic powder in a short time, by decomposing a waste silicone hardened matter at ordinary temperature. SOLUTION: The processing method for reuse of waste silicone hardened matter is composed of stage (A) to decompose the silicone hardened matter by processing the waste silicone hardened matter, the mixture mainly consisting of it or its complex using an organic sulfonic acid in nonaqueous solvent, stage (B) to neutralize the resulting decomposed mixture by adding water and an alkaline earth metal oxide and/or hydroxide to separate an organic phase containing the siloxane compound, and stage (C) to isolate the siloxane compound from the organic phase.
