PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance magnetic ferrite having higher quality factor, small high frequency loss, excellent temperature property and high volume resistivity in a MgCuZn ferrite and a lamination type ferrite part. SOLUTION: The magnetic ferrite consists essentially of 40-51 mol% Fe2O3, 5-30 mol% CuO, 0.5-35 mol% ZnO and 5-50 mol% MgO and as an additional component, 0.03-1.0 mass% Co3O4 expressed in terms of Co per the essential components is added.
