PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burning method for burning fossil fuel more efficiently.;SOLUTION: The burning method for burning fossil fuel is provided with a process of producing emulsified fuel D by adding and mixing water B and an emulsifier C in the fossil fuel A, and a process of carrying out the injection combustion of the emulsified fuel D and fossil fuel E for seed flame in a boiler. A mixing ratio of fossil fuel and water can be provided at about 1:1 in volume ratio by burning the fossil fuel as seed flame when burning the emulsified fuel produced by mixing the fossil fuel, the water, and the emulsifier. Although the volume ratio is 1:1, in other words, a mixed amount of the fossil fuel is about 50%, combustion can be carried out more efficiently than burning only fossil fuel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
