PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geothermal hot water treating method and a geothermal hot gas treating equipment, in which the utility cost is low and the possibility of releasing H2S again in the environment is eliminated.;SOLUTION: This geothermal hot water treating method characterized by being provided with at least an adsorption step to supply a H2S-containing noncondensible gas of relatively high pressure based on carbon dioxide to the front of an adsorption column packed with a H2S selectively adsorbing agent and discharge the residual gas from the back of the adsorption column, a desorption step to recover volume-reduced concentrated H2S from the front of the adsorption column by making relatively low the pressure of the adsorption column after the adsorption step is completed and purging the residual gas countercurrently from the back of the adsorption column, an absorption step to absorb the noncondensible gas containing the concentrated H2S recovered at the desorption step into geothermal hot water and make the pH of the geothermal hot water to be ≤7 and a recovery step to guide the H2S unabsorbed at the absorption step to the front of the adsorption column and mix the guided H2S in the noncondensible gas, is adopted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
