PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive GHP remote monitoring system capable of effectively utilizing an existing adaptor with a wireless phone function, having superior energy saving efficiency, and creating comfortable environment.;SOLUTION: This GHP remote monitoring system 1 is provided for remote monitoring a gas engine heat pump type air conditioner (hereinafter called GHP), having an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The GHP remote monitoring system 1 comprises the adaptor 2, a computer 3 for monitoring, and a monitoring unit 4. The adaptor 2 has an operation data collecting means, a first operation data transmitting means, an instruction data receiving means and an instructing means. The monitoring unit 4 has a human detecting sensor 61 or/and a room temperature sensor 62, and a detection data delivering means.
