PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively manufacturing an electromagnetic steel sheet having superior die-stamping workability and magnetic properties in a 45° direction with respect to the rolling direction, without decreasing productivity.;SOLUTION: A slab for the electromagnetic steel sheet having the superior magnetic properties in the 45° direction with respect to the rolling direction comprises, by mass%, 0.01-0.5% C, 4% or less Si, 2% or less Mn, 0.2% or less P, 0.005% or less S, 0.005% or less N, 3% or less Al and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities. The method for manufacturing the electromagnetic steel sheet comprises the steps of: hot-rolling the above slab; final-rolling the plate at a reduction ratio of 92% or higher; then decarburization-annealing the sheet; and finish-annealing the sheet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
