A high density readable only optical disk, useful as a high density recording media with a super resolution near field structure that can read marks with a size smaller than the resolution of a laser beam, comprises a substrate (10) with pits (17) and mask layer(s) (11) with a super resolution near field structure, which are made of a mixture of a dielectric material and metal particles (16).
