PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geomagnetic sensor capable of calibrating an accurate azimuth even if the geometric sensor is in a tilting state.;SOLUTION: This geomagnetic sensor includes a geomagnetic measurement part generating a predetermined voltage value corresponding to geomagnetism; an acceleration sensor measuring a pitch angle and a roll angle which indicate a tilting degree of the sensor based on a horizontal state; and a control part for calibrating the azimuth by compensating a voltage value outputted from the geomagnetic measurement part by use of the pitch angle and roll angle measured by the acceleration sensor and then normalizing it with a value within a predetermined range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
