PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile, a clay tile roofing structure and a clay tile roofing method preventing damage due to load applied to roof tiles from above by eliminating excessive voids under the roof tiles, preventing the roof tiles from being turned up by a strong wind or dislocated by the secular change after construction, and preventing infiltration of rainwater through holes used in dislocation preventing measures.;SOLUTION: The roof tile is provided with a projecting part 2 abutting on a tile batten 1 fixed to a roof face. The eaves side edge part of the roof tile covers the ridge side edge part of the roof tile laid in the lower position, and the ridge side edge part is covered with the eaves side edge part of the roof tile laid in the upper position.
