PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for forecasting starting schedule capable of forecasting starting schedule of a steam turbine and a boiler even during operation and minimizing loss at a time of start by utilizing the result.;SOLUTION: The system 1 for forecasting starting schedule of the steam plant is provided at least with an input device 4 inputting at least parallel off plan date and a parallel plan date, a data storage part 3 storing operation result data in the past, and a simulation control part 2 determining turbine start time based on a formula forecasting temperature of a predetermined section during stop of a turbine, defining boiler ignition time with setting determined start time as an origin based on the formula forecasting temperature of the predetermined section during stop of the boiler and a formula forecasting required start time from start of the turbine by the forecasted temperature, and converging the provided boiler ignition time to a fixed value by correcting ignition timing by repeating the same operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
