PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the viewability of various indications on a three-dimensional map by restricting two-dimensional display size and restricting the number of display objects by distance with perspectives in terms of a three-dimensional space.;SOLUTION: This device comprises a means determining first to four areas to which the distance between a visual point and a two-dimensional display object belongs in ascending order of distance; a means setting, when the display object is contained in the first area, the drawing size on a display screen of the object to a maximum value; a means setting, when the display object is contained in the second area, the drawing size on the display screen of the object to a value continuously changing from a minimum value to the maximum value according to the distance; a means setting, when the display object is contained in the third area, the drawing size on the display screen of the object to the minimum value; a means skipping, when the display object is contained in the fourth area, the drawing of the object; and a means two-dimensionally drawing the display object with the set drawing size on the display screen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
