PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device simply handleable even by a person having no professional knowledge, and enabling quantitative analysis as well as qualitative determination; and also to provide a detection method.;SOLUTION: In this allergen detection device, an allergen reception part for taking allergen into the device inside, a plurality of detection parts provided on the downstream side of the allergen reception part, and a plurality of passages for communicating in parallel the allergen reception part and each detection part are provided on one substrate; and an antibody reacting specifically with an antigen, and a standard antigen are included inside the detection parts. The device has characteristics wherein, when the allergen amount introduced into the detection parts is below a prescribed amount, a visually-confirmable aggregate is formed by a reaction between the antigen and the antibody, and when the allergen amount is over the prescribed amount, the amount of the standard antigen and the amount of the antibody are regulated so that the visually-confirmable aggregate is not formed by the reaction between the antigen and the antibody.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
