PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an energy loss every moment in a dynamic behavior of a viscoelastic material, to visualize the energy loss generated inside a golf ball when shot, for every moment, and to enhance design efficiency for a product comprising the viscoelastic material such as the golf ball.;SOLUTION: The dynamic behavior as to an analytical object constituted of the viscoelastic material is analyzed by a numerical analysis technique, and the energy loss generated in the viscoelastic material in the dynamic behavior is calculated momentarily based on a viscous component of the analytical object. The energy loss calculated by this calculation method is visualized in golf ball shot simulation, and the energy loss generated in the golf ball is thereby evaluated momentarily.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
