PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-temperature extract composition of marine alga, with which an active ingredient contained in marine alga is extracted in a short time by a simple method and a method for producing a high-temperature extract composition of marine alga, which easily controls extraction action and has an excellent yield of the obtained extract composition of marine alga, to apply the high-temperature extract composition of marine alga obtained by the production method to all foods including seasoning, a cosmetic, a health food, etc., and to use the composition. PSOLUTION: The method for producing a high-temperature extract composition of marine alga comprises a process for heat-treating marine algae in an aqueous medium at pH 1-13 at 105-200C. The marine algae are heated under pressure at 105C in this manner so that the high-temperature extract composition of marine alga is produced in a short time by treating marine algae by a simple method.
