PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly sensitively and efficiently measuring the mutagenicity / genetic toxicity of a compound. PSOLUTION: This recombinant nucleic acid sequence containing an SOS modulating promoter having an induction ratio of 40, wherein the promoter is connected to a reporter-encoded nucleic acid sequence encoding a reporter producing a signal capable of being assayed as photo production. A host microorganism containing the nucleic acid sequence, and a method for measuring genetic toxicity and the presence of many genetic toxic compounds with the microorganism (biosensor).
