PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out dredging work without temporary interruption even before a next empty soil carrier boat arrives after a soil carrier boat near a dredging boat becomes full with dredged soil and departs from the dredging boat, in this dredging and transporting method for dredging soil deposited on the bottom with the dredging boat, forcibly carrying it to above the water through a transporting pipe, storing the carried soil in the soil carrier boat near to the dredging boat, and carrying from a site water area with the soil carrier boat.;SOLUTION: A body 2 of the dredging boat B is provided with a storage tank P for temporarily storing the dredged soil forcibly carried to above the water through the transporting pipe 1; a selectively communicating means S of selectively communicating the downstream end of the transporting pipe 1 with the inside of the storage tank P or the inside of the soil carrier boat B'; and a forcibly transferring means D for forcibly transferring the soil stored in the storage tank P to the soil carrier boat B' without intervening the selectively communicating means S.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
