PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the weft-holding mecanism and weft-inserting device for gripper loom. PSOLUTION: The gripper is equipped with housing (1), actuator (2), yarn clamp (3) and the connection part (11) for the gripper band. The actuator can electrically be operated and the holding power and the holding cycle of the yarn clamp are controlled through induction coils according to the physical and/or fabric data of a warp to be inserted.
