PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring jig for positioning a building sash, which allows the operator to correctly, quickly, and easily set the building sash without requiring skill, to thereby contribute to improved workability and shortened working hours, and to provide a method of positioning the building sash.;SOLUTION: The measuring jig 10 for positioning is for use when a sash frame 4 of the building sash 3 is mounted in an opening section 2 of a skeleton 1, by being mounted on four corners of the sash frame 4. The measuring jig 10 is formed of: a measuring jig main body 10a which extends from the corner of the sash frame 4 in three directions, i. e. a vertical direction, a horizontal direction, and a room interior/exterior direction, and has measuring pieces 11, 12, 13 having respective marks 11a, 12a, 13a thereon; and a mounting member 10b which functions to mount the measuring jig main body 10a on each of the corners of the sash frame 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
