PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency four-multiplying method and a frequency four-multiplying device in a small-scale circuit configuration and a wide applicable frequency range, and to provide an electronic apparatus using the device.;SOLUTION: The frequency four-multiplying device is provided with: a signal distribution circuit 5 that distributes an input signal s1 to a first signal s4, a second signal s5 in the same phase with it and a third signal s6, a fourth signal s7 in a reverse phase; a first push-push doubler circuit 8 that performs half-wave rectification of the first signal s4 and the third signal s6, composites them respectively on the positive side and outputs them as a fifth signal s8; a second push-push doubler circuit 11 that performs the half-wave rectification of the second signal s5 and the fourth signal s7, composites them respectively on the negative side and outputs them as a sixth signal s9; and a third push-push doubler circuit 14 that outputs a signal s10 formed by four-multiplying the input signal s1 by shifting the levels of the fifth signal s8 and the sixth signal s9 in the direction where their DC levels become smaller respectively, simultaneously performing both signals and compositing them.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
