PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure bulletproof protective member and bulletproof protective clothing with excellent bulletproof performance as well as shock-absorption performance, while reducing the risk of fragments of their components flying toward the wearer's body. PSOLUTION: The bulletproof protective member comprises: a main bulletproof layer 1; a trauma plate layer 2; and a fragment protection member 3, all of which are stacked one on top of another in that order. A resin foam sheet is stacked on the side of the fragment protection member opposite to the trauma plate layer. The bulletproof protective clothing comprises a back body; a front body; buckles with shoulder pads that are positioned to be able to be secured to the front body from the back body past the shoulder tips; and a belt with a hook-and-loop fastener for securing the front body to the back body at the flanks. Also, the belt with the hook-and-loop fastener has a size-adjusting mechanism. The size-adjusting mechanism is covered with cloth. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
