PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a π dimer radical anion scandium complex composed of paramagnetic radical molecules and exhibiting thermochromism in which color remarkably changes at a low temperature and a color thermometer composed of the complex.;SOLUTION: The π dimer radical anion scandium complex is represented by formula (I): X^--nSc³⁺-X (wherein X is quinone or 1,4-naphthoquinone; n is an integer of 2 or 3).
